Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the SD Ventures platform (the "Service") by businesses ("Clients") who sign up for an account. By creating an account or using the Service, a Client agrees to these terms.
The Service
SD Ventures provides an AI receptionist that connects to a Client's WhatsApp number and answers their customers' ("End Customers") messages, grounded in data the Client provides (business details, products, FAQs). The Service also supports lead capture and follow-up messaging.
Accounts
A Client is responsible for the accuracy of the business information they provide, for the actions of staff accounts they create, and for keeping login credentials confidential. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of an account.
Acceptable use
The Service may not be used to send unsolicited or unlawful messages, to impersonate another business or person, or in any way that violates WhatsApp's or Meta's own policies for the WhatsApp Business Platform — a Client's continued access depends on compliance with those third-party policies as well as these terms.
Client content and data
A Client retains ownership of the business content they provide (products, FAQs, business details). By using the Service, a Client grants us a license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service on their behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.
AI-generated responses
The Service is designed to answer only from a Client's own provided data, and to hand off to a human rather than guess when it cannot find a confident answer. Even so, a Client is responsible for reviewing the business data they provide for accuracy, since responses are only as correct as that underlying data.
Fees
Fees for the Service are as set out in the plan or agreement a Client signs up for. We will provide notice before any change to fees for an existing subscription.
Termination
A Client may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms, of WhatsApp's platform policies, or of applicable law. On termination, data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy's data retention and deletion provisions.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that AI-generated responses will always be accurate or available, though the Service is designed to escalate to a human rather than provide an unfounded answer. To the extent permitted by law, SD Ventures's liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid for the Service in the preceding three months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated revision date.
